Nearly 13 years after the last fanless cube (Power Mac G4 Cube) a new hexahedron is coming. While the Apple computer had to cool a 55W processor, Streacom's DB4 will handle 65W TDP on each of the four side panels.
Streacom's Oliver Pusse tells us that the DB4 will be very modular : "You can use one side for the CPU, one for a dedicated GPU, and another one for our fanless 250 Watt ZeroFlex power supply. The connectors are at the bottom, so the DB4 looks good from any angle. It's a true desktop case, that must not be hidden below the desk." The 250mm x 250mm x 250mm chassis will hit stores in September / early October for about 200 euros.
