Intel quietly launches the long-rumored Cannon Lake NUC (AKA "Crimson Canyon"). Strangely, neither Cannon Lake nor 10nm are mentioned. The NUC8i3CYSN (4GB RAM) and NUC8i3CYSM (8GB RAM) are both complete Windows 10 PCs featuring the 15W i3-8121U, humble Radeon 540 graphics, and a 1TB HDD.
Frankly, we're not sure how Crimson Canyon will fit between the upcoming Bean Canyon and its Iris Plus Graphics 655, and the spectacular Radeon RX Vega M-powered
Hades Canyon super-NUC. At this time, no fanless case is in the works for Crimson Canyon.
