Launched exactly 9 years ago, the ASUS AT5IONT-I was a groundbreaking fanless mini-ITX motherboard, and a low-cost HTPC dream. It rocked a dual-core, hyper-threaded 1.8GHz Atom D525 and NVIDIA ION 2 graphics, allowing digital monitor outputs and hardware-accelerated video decoding. To cope with the combined TDP of 20W the AT5IONT-I featured a massive heat sink, and no less than three heat pipes.
