Fanless components don't have magical powers. Strict guidelines must be followed, like unobstructed convection and a manageable TDP. Pairing the 95W i9-9900K with the entry-level Alpine 12 Passive CPU cooler (designed for processors up to 47W TDP) is absolutely not recommended, and performance will be mediocre at best. Passive cooling should be about reliability, peace of mind, and great thermals.
