Streacom is teasing a brand new fanless chassis featuring an unconventional cooling system. The main heat sink looks like an evaporator, and the two heat pipes are clearly designed for a freon-type refrigerant. Overall it's very similar to the 2-phase system of the infamous Calyos PC that got stuck in development hell.
Well, they look similar for good reason. According to the latest Calyos update, Streacom is taking over the project, and will handle the manufacturing process. Cooling performance should be stellar: "From engineering simulations, its thermal performance was estimated to be 195W for the CPU and 420W for the GPU at a room temperature of 35°C".
