MeLE's vision of CPU cooling mostly rely on the processor's own thermal management. The cooling solution of the Quieter is so mediocre (a thin internal aluminum sheet and a thermally conductive plastic case) that adding this $12 aluminum heat sink on top of the system significantly improves temperatures. And as a bonus, it now looks like a genuine fanless PC.
